The Chartered Institute of Management Endorses the iManage Academy

iManage Academy are proud to announce that all of the content on the iManage Academy is now officially endorsed by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the leading professional body recognising management and leadership development.

For over 60 years the CMI have championed excellence in management training. They developed the UK's first diploma in management studies and remain the only Awarding Body able to award Chartered Manager status. The CMI are highly regarded throughout the business world and work with some of the leading global companies in developing management thinking. 

Their endorsement is a clear sign of the quality of content that members are enjoying within the iManage Academy. The site marks a move away from traditional face to face management training or systematic e-learning and towards a more self directed model which is being increasingly embraced by employees. The Academy also allows strong peer to peer learning within the community aspects, a feature that the CMI are keen to promote. This is something that iManage has promoted for many years with the 70:20:10 model which suggests that 70% of our retained learning comes from social aspects of training. The iManage Academy therefore represents all facets of modern management thinking, supporting members to become fantastic managers.

This endorsement acts as further validation of iManages overall approach to L&D, something that has been developed over the past 16 years as a supplier of blended learning programmes to clients around the world and in a range of sectors. iManage has developed over 250 original courses across a wide range of dsicplines and has become renowned for unique, engaging and memorable learning experiences. The Academy brings the best of this tested face to face approach to an online platform. 

Academy members will now have the option of obtaining a CMI certifcation on the completion of courses within the iManage Academy. This is highly regarded amongst employers and seen as an indication of professional and personal self development; something that is diffentiating candidates in a very competitive job and promotions marketplace.

iManage will continue to develop unique content for the iManage Academy that will reflect the changing face of management and business. New content will be added on a weekly basis with conituning support from the CMI to ensure that the Academy remains a leading community for ambitious and successful managers.
